Cha Cha is a definitive authority in the global coffee circuit. As a seasoned judge for the Coffee in Good Spirits (CIGS) Championship and an official World Coffee Events (WCE) Representative, she has spent years calibrating the world’s elite talent.

For the first and only time at Afloat Coffee Roaster, Cha Cha will lead a comprehensive 7-hour Masterclass designed to bridge the gap between specialty coffee and craft mixology.


Who Is This For?

There are no prerequisites for this course. Whether you are a professional barista, a seasoned bartender, or simply a coffee enthusiast with a deep interest in the fusion of spirits and caffeine, this masterclass is designed for you. All that is required is a palate ready to learn.


Course Details

  • Date: 18th & 19th March (Wednesday & Thursday)

  • Total Duration: 13:00 - 17:00 (4 Hours Split across 2 days)

The Curriculum

Day 1: Theory & Sensory Foundation

4 Hours | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • The Chemistry of Flavor: Deep dive into how roast levels and processing methods (natural, washed, anaerobic) impact spirit pairing.

  • Structural Balance: Understanding the intersection of acidity, sweetness, and bitterness in a glass.

  • The Science of Integration: Cold brew alcohol techniques and fermentation fusion.

  • Commercial Strategy: Designing high-value menus and implementing coffee-cocktail programs in professional bars and cafés.

Day 2: Practical & Signature Showcase

4 Hours | 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

  • Classic Mastery: Hands-on fine-tuning of the Espresso Martini, Irish Coffee (texture & layering), and Coffee Negroni.

  • Signature Development: Participants will apply Day 1 theories to develop and refine their own original coffee cocktail.

  • Critique & Showcase: Personalized feedback from Cha Cha on balance, technique, and presentation.
